Baby Sprinkle
After some convincing from my friends, that it wasn't too late and it didn't have to be too much hassle. Being in the last month of my pregnancy, I didn't want to stress about having people over, catering and what not so I decided to have my Baby Sprinkle at a local Tea House. I didn't worry too much about games, instead we opted for a flower crown class, which I have done before and I absolutely loved. Plus they look so beautiful and make every woman and girl feel like a little princess. I also asked my photographer to come for a couple of hours, just to capture some snippets and I'm so glad that I did.
Here's how it all came together, details provided below.
TEA PARTY // TEA VINE HOUSE
FLOWERS // FLEURUS
PHOTOGRAPHER // GET TOGETHER PHOTO
MAKE UP // SARAH BOTT MAKE UP ARTISTRY
MY DRESS // FILLY BOO MATERNITY
LEXI'S DRESS // SEED HERITAGE
We decided not to do any gifts but if any of my girlfriends insisted, I asked for them to donate baby goods or monies to charity organisation Baby Give Back. We seem to have everything we need, as we are having another girl only 2 years apart so it seemed unnecessary to ask for anything.
If you are undecided about having a Baby Shower, then I encourage you to have a Baby Sprinkle. It was so much fun, we laughed while we ate yummy treats and shared a lovely morning together. There is something so good for the soul to see a beautiful bunch of women building each other up and being unapologetically themselves around one another. I am so lucky to have these people to call friends.
I know I won't see this special bunch of ladies in the one spot any time soon especially not while I look that put together. I will most likely be covered in my own breast milk, burp cloth on, boob out, sleep deprived and mum bun in full force, so it was a beautiful last social outing for me. Not only that, but Lex and I got to celebrate our precious bundle as she is so cherished and loved.
Hope you enjoyed the pictures- huge thanks to Anne for capturing.
Love,
